UNiMUN 2022: Recap

27.06.2022

After months of preparation and a weekend of debates, we are happy to say that UNiMUN 2022 was a great success for the UNi-Gruppe and this year's participants. Hosted at Freie Universität Berlin, students from the region and beyond came to discuss the topics of Security Politics and Climate Change. Our delegates worked out comprehensive recommendations for how to tackle the issues of global water distribution and resolving the South China Sea Conflict, presenting resolutions which will be forwarded to the United Nations Association of Germany (DGVN).

We would like to thank all those involved in making the post-pandemic return of UNiMUN possible, especially our head coordinators Diego T. and Michel W., as without their efforts this conference could not have taken place with such great success. Furthermore, the Task Forces Logistics, Content Management and Public Relations, as well as our Head of Finance and Logistics, Eric K., each took over important roles during the preparations.

UNiMUN 2022 was made possible through the generous support of the DGVN, who provided financial and intellectual assistance for our conference. We are very happy to have been able to host Lena Cornelis, Board Member of the DGVN, as a keynote speaker.

A detailed report regarding this year's program and results of the MUN will be published on this website shortly.
